Homestay

St. Lawrence School and its homestay partners provide placements for all students in a warm, welcoming home environment.  Homestay placements are within a 30-minute commute to and from the school, and students are paired with at least one other student so that they may travel to and from the school together. All homestays are thoroughly screened and must meet standards regarding room size, cleanliness, and safety considerations. All adults over the age of 25 are required to submit criminal record checks to the school. Families provide breakfast and dinner on school days and all weekend meals.

It is understood that some students have family members living in the Vancouver area and do not need homestay accommodation. In these circumstances, we ask families to provide contact information and details regarding the family relationship to the student.
