Special University Seminar by the University of the Fraser Valley

St. Lawrence School had the honor of welcoming a representative from the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV), a distinguished Canadian university located in British Columbia. The visit featured a special seminar held on our campus, offering students valuable insights into academic opportunities abroad.

During the seminar, the UFV representative gave an in-depth presentation about the university’s programs and strengths. One of the highlights was the introduction of UFV’s unique Aviation Program, which is one of the few of its kind in Canada. The program includes flight training and practical skills that can lead to careers in the aviation industry—a topic that captured the interest of many of our students.

In addition, students learned about UFV’s wide range of academic fields, including Business, Sciences, Humanities, Health Sciences, and Technology. The seminar provided a comprehensive overview of the diverse paths available to future students. A Q&A session followed the presentation, allowing students to ask questions and gain a clearer understanding of life at UFV, as well as the application process.

This seminar was a meaningful part of St. Lawrence School’s commitment to global education, helping students explore the world and consider their future from an international perspective.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the representative from the University of the Fraser Valley for visiting our school and inspiring our students.
St. Lawrence School will continue to provide valuable international learning opportunities for all.
