TRU University Seminar Held at St. Lawrence School

We were delighted to welcome representatives from Thompson Rivers University (TRU) for a special university seminar at St. Lawrence School.

During the session, TRU staff introduced their beautiful Kamloops campus and modern on-campus residences designed to support student life and learning. They also shared details about some of their unique and hands-on programs, including the Bachelor of Computing Science Co-op, which combines academic study with paid work experience, and the Pathways to Adventure program, offering experiential learning in outdoor and adventure settings.

In addition, students learned about TRU’s flexible transfer credit system, which allows learners from partner institutions to transfer credits smoothly and continue their studies toward a TRU degree.

Many of our students commented that the presentation helped them better imagine what studying abroad might be like and inspired them to consider TRU as part of their future academic journey.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to the TRU team for visiting and sharing such valuable insights with our students.
