St. Lawrence School Students Visit the University of the Fraser Valley

Students from St. Lawrence School recently had the exciting opportunity to visit the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) for a campus tour. During the visit, professors from various departments gave engaging presentations tailored to the students’ interests, offering insights into their programs and academic paths.

The students explored UFV’s facilities, including a tour of the airport used by students in the aviation program, where they had the chance to see actual training aircraft. They also enjoyed a live demonstration of 3D animation techniques in the Media Arts program, which highlighted the cutting-edge technology used in the field.

In addition to visiting classrooms and labs, students toured student residences and other key areas of campus life.

This experience gave students a clearer picture of what university life might look like and helped them begin envisioning their own futures in higher education.
